Job Title: Property Legal Secretary
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Are you an experienced Property Legal Secretary looking for your next move? We’re looking for a confident, organised and proactive Property Legal Secretary with previous property law experience to join an established and supportive legal team in Harrogate.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing who enjoys a busy environment and takes pride in providing high quality support to fee earners and clients.
You’ll provide secretarial and administrative support across a varied property caseload, helping fee earners progress matters efficiently and ensuring clients receive a professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with property and conveyancing matters
- Preparing correspondence, legal documents and reports
- Managing client files and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and external contacts
- Monitoring key dates, deadlines and outstanding actions
- Assisting with property-related documentation, searches and enquiries
- Supporting billing, time recording, diary management and general administration
- Providing a professional and responsive service to clients

Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a property/conveyancing team
- Good understanding of property law and the conveyancing process
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy workload and competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with clients and colleagues
- Good IT and case management system skills
- Proactive, reliable and team focused approach
In return, you’ll receive £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year office closure, private healthcare and a pension scheme.
