📍 Nantwich 💼 Full-Time | Part-Time & Job Share Considered 💰 £24,505 per annum (based on a 25-hour working week) + Annual Salary Reviews

Are you an experienced Property Legal Secretary looking to join a respected and long-established law firm? This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive Property team, providing key administrative and secretarial support across both Residential and Commercial Property matters. You'll play a vital role in keeping the department running smoothly while working closely with experienced Fee Earners in a friendly, professional environment.

The Role

As a Property Legal Secretary, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Commercial and Residential Property Fee Earners.
  • Produce legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation.
  • Prepare legal documentation, reports, and client correspondence.
  • Manage files using case management software (Smokeball experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, HM Land Registry, lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally.
  • Assist with diary management, appointments, and document preparation.
  • Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Provide occasional reception cover when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Residential and/or Commercial Property.
  • Excellent audio typing and digital dictation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication and client care skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (RSA/Pitman qualifications are advantageous but not essential).

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am – 5:15pm
  • One-hour lunch break (1:00pm – 2:00pm)
