Property Litigation Associate
Location: Birmingham or Leeds
Salary: 67k+
PQE: NQ-4 years
Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Property Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded national real estate disputes team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-4 PQE solicitor to develop their career within a well-established team, working alongside experienced property litigators on a varied and high-quality caseload.
You'll advise a diverse client base, including major retailers, developers, landlords, and public sector organisations, on a broad range of commercial property disputes. The role offers exposure to complex matters, early responsibility, and the opportunity to build strong client relationships in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You'll be involved in a wide range of real estate litigation matters, including:
- Landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, break notices, and dilapidations.
- Possession claims, rent recovery, forfeiture, and service charge disputes.
- Property-related insolvency, restrictive covenants, and land registration issues.
- Rights to light and other complex real estate disputes.
- Preparing legal documentation, undertaking research, and liaising with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Managing elements of your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
- Supporting business development, team initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.

About You
We're keen to hear from solicitors with:
- NQ-4 years' PQE in property litigation or real estate disputes.
- A genuine interest in developing their career within property litigation.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with a client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to the wider team.
