Property Litigation Fee Earner (2-4 years PQE)

Are you a skilled and driven solicitor with a passion for resolving residential property disputes? Do you have 2–4 years PQE in property litigation and a desire to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About the Role:

We are looking for a Residential Property Litigator to join our Dispute Resolution team. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of contentious residential property matters, taking ownership of cases from initial instruction through to resolution.

Your work will involve:

  • Landlord & Tenant Disputes – Advising landlords and tenants on leasehold disputes, service charge disagreements, and tenancy issues.
  • Possession & Eviction Proceedings – Handling claims under the Housing Act 1988, drafting notices, and representing clients in court.
  • Breach of Lease & Contract Disputes – Managing cases involving unpaid rent, unauthorised alterations, or other lease breaches.
  • Boundary & Adverse Possession Disputes – Advising clients on land ownership issues, right-of-way conflicts, and adverse possession claims.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) – Engaging in mediation, arbitration, and negotiations to resolve disputes outside of court where possible.
  • Litigation & Court Representation – Drafting pleadings, preparing cases for trial, and representing clients in court and tribunals.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Matters – Ensuring clients meet housing law and landlord-tenant regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a confident and proactive solicitor who:

  • Has 2 - 4 years PQE in property litigation or dispute resolution.
  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle a variety of residential property disputes.
  • Possesses excellent drafting skills, including correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements.
  • Is commercially astute, with a focus on delivering practical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Has exceptional client care skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clients from all backgrounds.
  • Works well independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
