The Property Litigation Team sits within our Property Department, which has experienced significant growth over the last five years and that growth is set to continue, with major tender wins on high profile projects and new clients coming on board across the country.
The team operates nationally as one team, with lawyers across our Bristol, Birmingham and Leeds offices working collaboratively on client work and other initiatives. The team and many members of it are recognised in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for our skills and expertise. Team members are regularly involved in handling reported cases and in litigation in the higher Courts (including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court) and Tribunals.
We offer a very supportive working environment, and our lawyers regularly work as members of litigation or multi-disciplinary client service teams that involve colleagues of all levels working together. The team's culture is open, friendly, and progressive with regular in person and virtual collaboration events arranged to nurture team playing and collegiality. New joiners have commented positively about how people-centred our ways of working are, with colleagues at every level being valued, supported and invested in.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
