Property Litigation Solicitor | Brighton | £54,500–£85,000
A leading South East law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its established Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in Brighton.
This is a genuine growth opportunity within a busy and highly regarded specialist team, offering the chance to work on high-quality commercial and residential property disputes while developing your own client relationships and technical expertise.
The Role
You will handle a varied Real Estate Disputes caseload, advising a broad range of commercial and private clients on contentious property matters.
The work can include:
- Landlord & tenant disputes
- Lease renewals and rent reviews
- Lease enforcement
- Possession and recovery of rent
- Boundary, rights of way and easement disputes
- Restrictive covenants
- Nuisance claims
- Residential lease extensions and leaseholder disputes
- Building Safety Act matters
- Wider commercial and residential property litigation

The team takes a commercially focused approach to dispute resolution, looking for practical solutions where possible while robustly pursuing litigation where required.
About the Team
The Real Estate Dispute Resolution practice is recognised at Band 2 by Chambers and Tier 1 by Legal 500, with specialist lawyers covering a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes. The team works closely with the wider Real Estate and Planning practices, providing excellent opportunities for collaboration and cross-referral.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 2+ PQE
- Strong Property Litigation / Real Estate Disputes experience
- Confident managing your own matters and dealing directly with clients
- Good experience across landlord & tenant and/or wider property disputes
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to legal advice
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- Keen to develop within an established and growing specialist team
