Property Litigation Solicitor - Lancashire - Competitive Salary + Benefits
A highly regarded and award-winning regional law firm is looking for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Land and Property Dispute Resolution team in any of the firm's offices in the Lancashire area.
Recognised in the Legal 500 for its technical expertise and high-quality commercial advice, the team acts for an impressive mix of businesses, property developers, investors, commercial occupiers and individuals across England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Litigation Solicitor in Lancashire with 4+ years PQE to manage a varied caseload of high-quality contentious property matters while benefiting from genuine investment in career development, a strong people-focused culture and a notably achievable chargeable-hours target.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes with appropriate autonomy
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, dilapidations, break clauses and forfeiture
- Handling real property disputes involving restrictive covenants, easements, rights of light, trespass and possession
- Working on property-related contractual disputes and professional negligence claims
- Drafting correspondence and court documents and liaising with the Court throughout proceedings
- Instructing counsel and experts and attending hearings and all-party meetings
- Building strong client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to business development and the continued growth of the property litigation offering

The Candidate
- Ideally 4+ years PQE as a qualified Solicitor with strong property litigation experience
- Experience across landlord and tenant, real property and contractual property disputes
- Confident managing a caseload with an appropriate level of supervision and autonomy
- Commercially minded with strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisation, planning, drafting and communication skills
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
- An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
- Based within commutable distance and willing to travel between offices when required
