Property Litigation Solicitor
A well-regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Property Litigation Solicitor at NQ to 4 years' PQE to join its established team in Cambridge.
This role would suit a solicitor with experience in housing management and residential landlord & tenant matters, who is keen to develop their career within a varied property disputes practice.
The Role
You will advise a broad client base, including private individuals, landlords, tenants and organisations, on a range of contentious residential and property-related matters.
Your work will include:
- Residential landlord and tenant disputes and housing management matters.
- Adverse possession claims.
- Restrictive covenant disputes, including issues surrounding interpretation and enforceability.
- Private nuisance, trespass and neighbour disputes.
- Dilapidations and property condition claims.
- Advising on disputes arising from the occupation, use and management of residential property.
- Supporting transactional teams with complex property-related issues.
- Providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients throughout the course of disputes.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- NQ to 4 years' PQE in Property Litigation or a closely related area.
- Experience dealing with housing management and residential landlord & tenant work.
- A genuine interest in property disputes and contentious residential matters.
- The ability to analyse legal issues and apply relevant legislation and case law effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgement.
- The ability to manage matters with appropriate levels of supervision depending on complexity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A practical and client-focused approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
