Property Litigation Solicitor NQ-4PQE

A well-established Central London law firm is seeking a talented Solicitor or Associate Solicitor to join its growing Litigation team.

Purpose:

To manage a varied litigation caseload, supervise junior colleagues where appropriate, contribute to business development, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the strategic growth of the Litigation Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload including commercial litigation, property disputes, insolvency, contractual disputes, and other contentious matters.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct Counsel.
  • Supervise Trainees and Paralegals.
  • Support the Partners with mentoring, quality assurance, and workflow management.
  • Maintain compliant client files and excellent client care.
  • Ensure effective financial management including estimates, WIP, billing, and debt recovery.
  • Develop new business and maintain client relationships.
  • Assist with departmental planning, precedents, and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively across the firm.
  • Prepare case notes and legal updates for publication.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with appropriate post-qualification experience: NQ - 4 Years PQE
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, SRA Standards and Regulations, and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Experience of managing litigation matters.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

IT Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
