Overview
We are looking for a Property Loss Adjuster to handle a diverse caseload of property claims, working closely with insurers, policyholders, brokers, contractors and other stakeholders to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
How You'll Make An Impact
As a Property Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, managing and settling a wide range of property claims. You'll take ownership of claims from cradle to grave, ensuring each case is handled fairly, efficiently and in line with client requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and domestic property claims.
- Investigating losses and producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Assessing policy coverage, liability, scope of works and quantum.
- Negotiating settlements and pursuing recoveries where appropriate.
- Working across a broad range of risks including Commercial Property, Domestic Property, Real Estate, High Net Worth, Public Sector and Local Authority claims.
- Liaising with insurers, policyholders, brokers, builders, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Scheduling and overseeing repair works where required.
- Attending client meetings, site visits and other claim-related appointments.
- Contributing to claims audits and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensuring all claims are handled with integrity, professionalism and in line with company procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Experience handling property claims from cradle to grave.
- Strong investigation and claim management skills.
- A good understanding of construction, mitigation and liability principles.
- The ability to assess policy coverage and quantum with confidence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with insurers, policyholders and contractors.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.

Desirable
- CILA and/or CII qualifications.
- Previous experience adjusting or handling complex property losses.
- Exposure to commercial property, real estate or public sector claims.
