Role Description

The Property Maintenance Coordinator is a full time, on-site role based in Northampton. This role is responsible for organizing and overseeing day-to-day property maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring work is completed to required standards. The coordinator will handle tenant and landlord maintenance requests, maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, and track progress and completion dates. Daily responsibilities also include conducting basic inspections, monitoring maintenance schedules, prioritizing urgent issues, and supporting preventive maintenance plans. The role involves regular communication with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure properties are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with relevant regulations.

  • Strong Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills, with experience coordinating property repairs and upkeep.
  • Supervisory Skills to oversee contractors, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities to manage tenant and landlord queries in a professional manner.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic health and safety and property compliance requirements; experience in real estate or facilities management is an advantage.
  • Comfort using maintenance tracking systems or property management software; proficiency in standard office applications.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance coordination, property management, or similar role is preferred, though candidates with relevant transferable experience will be considered.
