Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and making a real difference?
We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activity across our UK & ROI retail estate, ensuring our stores remain safe, compliant and operationally efficient. This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, influence decision-making and help shape the future of our estate. It's a field-based position with regular travel across the UK and ROI, along with visits to Cirrus House in Nottingham when required. You'll spend time out in the business, building relationships, supporting stakeholders and gaining a first-hand understanding of the challenges and opportunities across our stores.
No two days will look the same. One day you could be working with Partners and Business Development Managers to resolve a complex maintenance issue. The next, you might be meeting with suppliers to review performance, identifying recurring defects across the estate, or supporting a major incident to ensure stores can continue operating with minimal disruption. You'll lead a team of Maintenance Coordinators and oversee both planned and reactive maintenance activity across the estate. You'll also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving performance, monitoring service levels and ensuring maintenance requests are resolved effectively and efficiently. A big part of the role is working collaboratively with colleagues across Business Development, Property Services, Procurement, Finance and Insurance, as well as our Joint Venture Partners. You'll become a trusted point of contact, providing expert advice and bringing people together to find practical solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
