About This Opportunity
AVT Services Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice with drive and an eagerness to learn new skills to join a growing ambitious team. You will be taught the use of specialist equipment and tools alongside communication and health & safety.
A Normal Day Would Include
Reporting to the project manager, working as part of a team for installation of infrastructure, the works include:
- Concrete works
- Installing fencing
- Understanding and installing earthing systems
- Working with steel including cable routing, trunking, and many other build tasks on mobile telecoms networks across a range of commercial sites
Other Duties Will Include
- Following all HS procedures at all times
- Working with experienced operatives and supporting them whilst learning the correct methodology for installation, reading drawings, and developing your skills toolbox
- Following all reporting procedures at all times
- Undertaking a range of tasks including joinery, groundworks, and steel installation
- Learn and understand the mobile telecoms facilities management processes and how the network passive infrastructure is managed and accessed

What You Could Go On To Do
You can progress onto becoming qualified at level 3 or as a Site Supervisor.

What You Should Have To Apply
- GCSE Minimum Grade 4/9 or above in English & Maths
