Job Opportunity: Property Management Account Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Property Management Account Manager based in the United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced property management professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio and its day-to-day operations. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for clients and tenants, building strong relationships while ensuring properties are managed efficiently. The role combines operational oversight, communication, team coordination, and independent problem-solving. You’ll be expected to navigate complex situations that may not have straightforward answers, using sound judgment and a proactive mindset. Starting with a portfolio of around 100 units, you’ll have the opportunity to scale toward 150, 200, or more units as your performance grows. It’s an ideal environment for an adaptable, resilient professional who thrives on responsibility, fast-paced work, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client and tenant communications, managing relationships professionally and ensuring timely, effective responses.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned property portfolio, maintaining high standards of service and operational performance.
- Manage a portfolio that may range from approximately 70 units for standard performers to 350 units for top performers.
- Handle daily communication workflows, primarily through written correspondence and email, with occasional outbound phone calls.
- Take ownership of portfolio growth, with an initial target of approximately 100 units and the opportunity to scale to 150, 200, or more units based on performance.
- Coordinate workflows and oversee team performance, including supervising, guiding, and holding Virtual Assistants accountable.
- Identify and resolve unusual or complex operational issues that may fall outside established procedures, manuals, or FAQs.
- Apply critical thinking, initiative, and sound judgment to determine appropriate solutions in ambiguous situations.
- De-escalate conflicts with clients and tenants calmly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demands while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.

Requirements
- Previous professional experience in property management, particularly as a Leasing Agent, Property Management Assistant, Property Manager, or in a comparable property operations position.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee daily property operations, workflows, and team performance.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence managing clients, tenants, and team members.
- Experience supervising, guiding, delegating to, and holding Virtual Assistants or remote team members accountable.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to make sound decisions when situations are complex or solutions are not explicitly documented.
- Highly adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive, self-directed, and autodidactic approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Calm and professional approach to conflict resolution, with resilience and a consistently positive attitude.
- Availability to work U.S. business hours.
- A quiet, dedicated home-office environment suitable for professional calls and focused work.
- Reliable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps, with a backup internet connection available.
- Dependable electricity with a suitable power backup solution.
- Computer with at least an Intel Core i5 8th generation processor, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent.
- At least 8 GB of RAM, with 16 GB or more preferred.
- Windows 10 or higher or a compatible recent version of macOS.
