The Avocado Property team @ iad is a sales and property management specialist focused on redefining the traditional estate agency model. The team uses video and digital-based marketing to reach buyers and tenants more effectively than conventional property portals, combining in-house videography with modern marketing practices. Drawing on techniques from marketing industries outside real estate, Avocado Property aims to deliver better value, visibility, and results for clients. Role Description

The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bracknell (work from home days), responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring a high standard of service to landlords and tenants. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves maintaining organized records, assisting with tenancy documentation, and collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to support smooth move-ins, renewals, and end-of-tenancy processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, lettings, or estate agency operations, with the ability to oversee residential properties and coordinate maintenance and inspections.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, record-keeping, and the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks concurrently.
  • Basic understanding of UK property regulations, tenancy agreements, and health and safety requirements, with a willingness to stay updated on industry standards.
  • Comfort with digital tools and property management systems, and an interest in modern marketing approaches such as video and online promotion.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Bracknell, take initiative, and resolve issues proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role and a service-oriented mindset; experience in residential lettings or block management is an advantage.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in property management or real estate are beneficial but not mandatory; full right to work in the UK is required.
