Our Residential Lettings team is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join us on a 12-month maternity cover.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse residential portfolio within a collaborative, high-performing team renowned for delivering exceptional service.
Working closely with landlords, tenants, and contractors, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of a varied property portfolio, ensuring compliance, coordinating maintenance, resolving issues, and providing an outstanding customer experience. No two days are the same, making this the perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building lasting client relationships.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of quality residential properties, building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors while keeping everything running smoothly. Your day could include:
- Carrying out property inspections and reporting back to landlords and tenants
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and contractor visits
- Handling daily queries and resolving issues with professionalism and clarity
- Keeping property management systems up to date and processing invoices
- Monitoring maintenance spend and advising clients on best practice
- Ensuring all properties meet current compliance standards (Gas Safety, EICR, EPC, Right to Rent, deposit protection, and more)
- Managing move-ins, utility notifications, inventories, check-ins/check-outs, and deposit negotiations
- Preparing and serving notices, and chasing arrears where required
- Staying informed on legislative changes and applying them confidently

About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Experienced in property management or a similar role
- Highly organised, articulate, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
- Skilled with Word, Excel, and general property management systems
- Calm under pressure, accurate with detail, and motivated by deadlines
- A natural relationship-builder who delivers excellent customer service
- Comfortable working independently but equally collaborative within a team
- A full driving licence holder
Bonus points for:
- Local knowledge of Cambridge and surrounding areas
- ARLA qualification
- Experience improving processes or introducing new ways of working
