Merrifields is a firm of Chartered Surveyors and Commercial Property Consultants based in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, serving clients across East Anglia. The company provides a wide range of commercial property services, including sales, lettings, and acquisitions through a highly active Commercial Agency Department. Its management portfolio includes single-tenant units as well as multi-occupied business parks, retail parks, and industrial estates. Merrifields also offers professional services such as valuations, rent reviews, and development assessments, supporting clients with informed property and investment decisions.

About the Role
Merrifields are looking to recruit a new experienced commercial property manager to work in our busy proactive department managing a mixed portfolio of properties.
You will need to be an enthusiastic team player who is engaging and approachable, with a can-do problem-solving attitude, to deliver a high level of productivity and stakeholder satisfaction. You will work within a small team and you will need to have previous practical experience in managing single- and multi-let commercial property, an understanding of lease structures and service charges, and landlord and tenant legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Commercial property portfolio and client management
- Financial and service charge management
- Property inspections
- Dealing with maintenance and contractors
- Lease administration and professional coordination and administration
