Property Manager – Hunters Highbury & Islington
We are looking for an organised, proactive and experienced Property Manager to join our team based at our Highbury & Islington branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring landlords and tenants receive a high standard of service throughout the tenancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day property maintenance, including liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Obtaining quotations, arranging works and following maintenance through to completion
- Carrying out and managing property inspections, producing reports and following up on any required works
- Managing tenancy deposits, including registrations, deposit returns and deductions at the end of a tenancy
- Managing tenant swaps/change of sharers, including communication with all parties and ensuring the required documentation is completed
- Handling tenant and landlord queries professionally and efficiently
- Managing check-outs and any associated end-of-tenancy works
- Liaising with contractors and monitoring outstanding maintenance
- Ensuring property and tenancy records are kept accurate and up to date
- Working closely with the wider Property Management and Lettings teams
- Ensuring all relevant compliance requirements are maintained throughout the tenancy
- Providing regular updates to landlords regarding their properties and any ongoing issues

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience within residential property management
- Have a good understanding of the tenancy lifecycle
- Be confident managing maintenance and contractors
- Have experience dealing with landlords and tenants
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable dealing with challenging situations and resolving issues
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be confident working independently as well as part of a team
- Have good IT and property management system skills
- Experience with deposits, inspections and tenant changes would be particularly beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Highbury & Islington, London
Salary: Depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
