Property Manager

Location: Holborn
Salary: £32,000-36,000


Our client is a modern, partner-led, full-service property consultancy based in central London. They offer a diverse range of professional services and place their clients at the heart of everything they do.

They are currently seeking a Property Manager to join their well-established residential management team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of privately rented properties across London, as well as ensuring efficient operations, tenant satisfaction, and compliance of the company’s residential assets, while delivering excellent service to both landlords and tenants.

This property management role is ideal for a proactive, commercially astute professional with a thorough understanding of UK landlord and tenant law, property management best practices, and a proven track record in managing residential tenanted properties.   • Coordinating and overseeing property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, working closely with contractors and service providers
  • Managing the full tenancy lifecycle for AST properties – from move-in to move-out
  • Acting as a point of contact for tenant queries, supporting with dispute resolution, and ensuring high customer service standards
  • Conducting regular property inspections, recording and reporting findings
  • Reviewing check-out reports and negotiating deposit deductions with tenants
  • Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and continued business growth
  • Monitoring rent payments and pursuing arrears in line with company policy
  • Liaising with tenants and guarantors to resolve payment issues
  • Ensuring all properties comply with current legislation (e.g. gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, licensing requirements)
  • Keeping up to date with changes in housing laws and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records for audits and legal purposes
  • Maintaining up-to-date records using property management software (e.g. PropMan, Dwellant or similar).

Personal Profile

  • At least 2 years’ experience in residential property management
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements in the UK housing market
  • ARLA Propertymark Level 3 or AssocRICS qualification
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload efficiently
  • Experience managing rental income and arrears processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with tenants and service providers effectively
  • Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation

This role is offering a salary of £32,000 to £36,000 dependent on experience.
