Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Property Manager at HERITAGE ESTATE HOLDINGS. The Property Manager will oversee day-to-day property operations, including coordinating maintenance requests, managing vendors, and ensuring timely resolution of tenant inquiries and issues. This role includes monitoring lease agreements, tracking rent payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting budget management and reporting. The Property Manager will also help develop and implement property policies, support occupancy and retention efforts, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and clear communication with tenants and owners are essential parts of the daily responsibilities.

  • Experience in property management, estate management, or real estate operations, with the ability to oversee day-to-day activities and tenant relations.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and basic financial tracking or budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, owners, and service providers.
  • Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access, good time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of lease agreements, property maintenance processes, and basic regulatory or compliance requirements related to property management.
  • Proficiency with common office and property management software tools; familiarity with spreadsheets and document management tools is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in South African property markets or similar environments is an advantage.
  • Relevant education in real estate, property management, business, or a related discipline is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
