Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Property Manager role based in Cirencester.

The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, handling day-to-day management, tenant and landlord communications, and routine inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Managing tenancy documentation
  • Monitoring rent payments
  • Supporting compliance with relevant property and safety regulations
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Supporting the sales and lettings teams with property readiness and marketing information
  • Ensuring that all clients receive timely, professional service

The role also involves:

  • Contributing to process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate records in property management systems
  • Upholding Perry Bishop’s standards of integrity and customer care

Qualifications & Experience

Preferred, however full training will be provided.

  • Strong property management skills, including tenancy administration, rent monitoring, and routine inspections.
  • Customer service and communication skills to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple properties, deadlines, and priorities with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of residential property law, safety regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., gas safety, electrical checks, EPCs).
  • Proficiency with property management and office software, including CRM systems, email, and document management tools.
  • Problem-solving skills to manage maintenance issues, disputes, and unexpected situations calmly and fairly.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Cirencester while collaborating effectively with the wider branch network.
  • Relevant experience in property management and lettings; professional qualifications (e.g., ARLA) are an advantage.
  • Valid driving license and access to transport for property visits and inspections, as required.
