Role Description

The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Burton On Trent, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Handling maintenance
  • Completing check outs
  • Deposit disputes
  • Serving notices
  • Conducting routine inspections

The role involves liaising with landlords and tenants, arranging maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met, and keeping accurate records of property activities. The Property Manager will also support rent collection processes, assist with property marketing, and work closely with colleagues to deliver a high level of client service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in property management, lettings, or a related residential real estate role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple properties, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of tenancy legislation, safety regulations, and property compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with office software and property management systems for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Problem-solving skills and practical judgment when dealing with maintenance issues, tenant concerns, and property-related challenges.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for property visits and inspections.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing environment and a professional, service-oriented approach.
  • Relevant qualifications in property, real estate, or business are advantageous but not essential.
