Your new role

As a Property Manager (Associate Director), you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential property assets across a defined region. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, tenants, and contractors, you will ensure high levels of service delivery, compliance, and estate performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple properties and portfolios, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Undertaking property inspections and managing maintenance and repair programmes.
  • Overseeing tenancy and lettings management, including rental appraisals, negotiations, and rent reviews.
  • Managing budgets, cash flows, and rent arrears.
  • Supporting business development activities, including contributing to tenders and client presentations.
  • Advising clients on legislative changes and implementing property management strategies.
  • Assisting with the leadership and development of a team of property professionals.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in residential property management.
  • Strong knowledge of property legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Professional qualification such as ARLA, AssocRICS, MRICS, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational priorities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience would be advantageous.
