About the role
Our client is a long-established, independent family business managing a substantial residential portfolio across Glasgow City Centre and the West End.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Property Manager who is ready to take ownership of a portfolio, build trusted relationships and play an important part in the continued development of our business. This opportunity would suit someone who has built a solid foundation in Scottish residential lettings and now wants greater responsibility, professional development and a clear path for progression.
First 90 days - what success looks like
- Take ownership of your own residential portfolio.
- Build trusted relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Manage tenancy administration, maintenance, compliance and rent accounts.
- Support landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
- Become proficient in the property management system used by the company.
- Understand and apply Scottish PRT legislation and compliance.
- Contribute to the continued development of the business.

Key responsibilities
- Manage tenancy administration, maintenance, compliance and rent accounts for a residential portfolio. Ensure adherence to Scottish PRT legislation and compliance. Conduct occasional property visits.
Requirements
- Confident and capable property professional.
- Experience in Scottish residential lettings or property management.
- Sound working knowledge of Scottish PRT legislation and compliance.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Confident in managing relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and see matters through to completion.
- Professional manner and strong attention to detail.
- Interest in developing knowledge and progressing career.
- Experience with SME Professional, Fixflo or another property management system is useful.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable, but access to your own car is not essential.

Compensation & structure
£32,000–£35,000 per year + £5,000 bonus (linked to profitability), depending on experience. Private health insurance. Mileage allowance where applicable. Sponsored professional qualifications for the right candidate. Ongoing training and professional development.
