Company Description

HJC Estate Agents was founded on a passion for helping people move home while reducing stress and changing perceptions of estate agents. The team is built around strong principles, putting clients and colleagues first and focusing on approachable, friendly, and empathetic service.

Role Description

We are looking for a Property Manager to join our fun, upbeat Lettings team. The position is a full-time, on-site role based in Surbiton, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating move-ins and move-outs, handling maintenance requests, and liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors. The role involves conducting property inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and keeping accurate records and documentation. The Property Manager will respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, proactively address issues, and support the wider team with lettings and sales-related activities as needed. This position requires a calm, organised, and solution-focused approach, aligned with HJC’s commitment to personal, professional, and positive service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
