About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Property Manager to join our team and take ownership of a diverse residential property portfolio.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, ensure properties are maintained to a high standard, coordinate works and refurbishments, and make sure our portfolio continues to improve.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service, is confident working independently, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
We’ll support your professional development by funding relevant training and examinations for an industry recognised Level 3 award.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property check-ins and check-outs in line with company standards.
- Carry out periodic property inspections, identifying maintenance issues and opportunities to improve standards.
- Maintain clear, professional and proactive communication with landlords, tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Log and coordinate works identified following check-outs and inspections.
- Manage deposit correspondence, including deposit releases and disputes.
- Compile and submit deposit dispute documentation where required.
- Prepare professional landlord inspection reports following property visits.
- Ensure properties are consistently well maintained and presented to the required standard.
- Visit new managed properties, identify any works required and compile accurate inventories.
- Respond to emergency property issues and visits when required.
- Manage property licence applications and renewals.
- Compile accurate floorplans where required.
- Coordinate and oversee refurbishment projects, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Support accounting and void management processes.
- Participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota, approximately one week in every six - until 9pm on weekday evenings, and 9am-7pm on weekends.
- Represent the company professionally at all times — whether attending appointments, communicating with clients and tenants, driving on company business or dealing with contractors and suppliers.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
