Role Description
The Property Paralegal is a full-time, on-site position based in Plymouth. The role involves supporting fee earners with residential and commercial property transactions, including drafting and reviewing documentation, preparing contract packs, and managing correspondence with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other stakeholders.

The Property Paralegal will assist with:
- Title checks, searches, and completion statements
- Maintaining accurate files and case management records
- Helping ensure transactions progress efficiently from instruction to completion

The role includes:
- Regular client contact
- Scheduling and tracking key milestones
- Providing administrative support to the property team
- Adhering to regulatory and firm-wide compliance standards
Qualifications
- Strong property law knowledge and experience handling residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Excellent organizational skills, including file management, time management, and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to use clear, plain English in client-facing and internal interactions.
- Competence in using legal case management systems and standard office software (e.g., Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment and provide dependable support to fee earners.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
- Previous experience in a legal support or paralegal role within property or a related practice area is highly beneficial.
- Relevant legal qualifications (such as a law degree, paralegal qualification, or CILEX studies) are advantageous but not mandatory where equivalent experience is demonstrated.
