We are seeking an experienced Property Paralegal to join our Commercial Property team in London. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team; we are looking for an experienced property paralegal to support two partners in our busy Commercial Property team.
You will enjoy direct exposure to high-quality commercial property work, working closely with partners on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, refinancing transactions and corporate real estate projects.
Caseload will include:
- Assisting with legal research
- Managing client communications
- Drafting legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds
- Drafting Reports on Title
- Drafting Land Registry forms including AP1s and TR1s
- Preparing completion statements
- Drafting SDLT returns
- Conducting land registry searches and other due diligence tasks pre-completion
- Dealing with post-completion matters including Land Registry registrations and SDLT filings
- Assisting the property partners with admin support, including (but not limited to):
- Organising legal files
- Maintaining accurate records
- Updating case management systems

Must haves:
- Experience preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Familiarity with title documentation and property due diligence
- Experience preparing Reports on Title
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with technology e.g. Excel, Adobe, Litera
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable:
- At least 2 years’ experience working within a commercial property department in a similar role.
