Property Partnerships & Acquisitions Manager

Film, TV & Events

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Farringdon, London
Salary: Competitive base (based on experience) + uncapped commission, paid the same month revenue is received

About Locations London

Locations London is a specialist property sourcing agency for the media and entertainment industries. We connect properties, land and buildings of every kind with major film, TV and event productions including work for Netflix, Amazon, Apple and Disney.

Our business runs on two things: the quality of our location library, and the strength of our relationships with those wanting to book them.

The Role

This is a relationship and business development role at its core. Your job is to go out and build Locations London's network of landlords, asset managers, agents, developers and private owners, and to convert those relationships into a pipeline of property we can put in front of the world's biggest productions.

You'll work across every asset class: high-end residential and country estates, offices, warehouses and industrial units, retail and shopping centres, hotels and hospitality, healthcare and education sites, civic and heritage buildings, car parks, land and development sites awaiting planning.

We want someone who can build enough trust with an owner or asset manager that Locations London becomes their sole route to the film, TV and events market turning one conversation into a long-term, repeatable revenue stream.

Why this is a good conversation to have

You're not cold selling something people don't want. You're offering property owners a way to generate significant income from space that is empty, underused, between tenants, awaiting planning or simply sitting idle at weekends with no capital outlay, on their terms, and with a professional agency managing the production end. For a lot of asset managers, this is found money on a line item they'd written off.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

Business development & relationship building

  • Proactively identify and approach landlords, asset managers, managing agents, developers, REITs, private owners and estate managers across London and the South East
  • Build a genuine, long-term network. Meetings, site visits, industry events, follow-ups
  • Pitch the commercial case for filming and events to property owners at decision-maker level
  • Act as the relationship owner: the person your contacts call first when an opportunity arises

Winning exclusive representation

  • Negotiate and secure exclusive or preferred-agency agreements wherever possible
  • Structure terms that work commercially for both sides and protect our position
  • Grow accounts over time. One exclusive building should become a portfolio

Pipeline & sourcing

  • Build and maintain a pipeline across all asset classes, with a strong bias to off-market opportunities
  • Research land, industrial and development availability using tools such as LandInsight
  • Qualify opportunities properly: access, power, parking, neighbours, consents, void periods
  • Work closely with the sales team to match incoming production and event briefs to the right sites

Commercial ownership

  • Manage your own deals from first contact through to agreement
  • Keep the CRM accurate and your pipeline forecastable
  • Identify freehold, studio and development prospects that support the wider business

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • A track record in sales, business development or agency. Ability to build relationships from a standing start and closed deals off the back of them
  • Confident and credible on the phone, by email and in person, including with senior asset managers and private owners
  • Commercially sharp: you understand what makes a deal worth doing and can negotiate terms, not just make introductions
  • Self-starting and organised, with the discipline to work a pipeline consistently
  • Comfortable owning targets and being rewarded on results

Desirable

  • Experience in commercial or residential property, land, asset management, or media/production sales
  • Familiarity with LandInsight, Promap or similar.
  • Degree-educated (or equivalent) in a property or media-related field
  • Full UK driving licence for site visits across the South East

Backgrounds that work well here

  • commercial agency, land buying, lettings, asset management, media/advertising sales, events sales, location sourcing, or anyone who has built a book of business from scratch and enjoys it.

Above all: a real interest in both property, sales and the media industry. This job takes you into buildings most people never see, for productions most people only watch.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary, set according to experience
  • Uncapped commission, calculated as a percentage of revenue generated and paid in the same month the revenue is received
  • The chance to build and own a network from the ground up, with your name on the relationships
  • Work on high-profile projects for global media clients
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where good ideas get acted on quickly

How to Apply

If you're excited by the combination of property and film, tv & events and enjoy building relationships that pay off over years rather than weeks and want to be rewarded properly for the deals you bring in, we'd love to hear from you.
