We’re working with a growing communications agency to find an experienced Account Director to join their team and take ownership of an established portfolio of property and placemaking clients.
This is a great opportunity for a property PR specialist who enjoys being close to the work. You’ll act as a senior day-to-day contact for clients, providing strategic counsel while remaining hands-on across campaign development, media relations, content and delivery.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, taking ownership and having genuine influence. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team on both client and commercial development, with plenty of scope to help shape the continued growth of the property offering.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of an established portfolio of property and placemaking clients, acting as a senior day-to-day contact and trusted adviser.
- Developing and leading strategic communications programmes aligned with clients’ wider business and commercial objectives.
- Delivering integrated consumer and corporate communications across PR, media relations, content, social media and events.
- Remaining hands-on with campaign development, drafting, media engagement and delivery.
- Building strong relationships across property, business, trade and consumer media.
- Providing senior counsel around issues, reputation and crisis communications.
- Preparing clients for media interviews and delivering media training where required.
- Directing and supporting junior team members across your accounts.
- Taking ownership of account planning, scopes, budgets and resources.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new areas of work.
- Playing a leading role in new business, from identifying opportunities through to proposals, creative development and pitching.
- Helping to further build the agency’s profile and network across the property and placemaking sector.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
