Property Project Delivery Manager

Location – Wokingham (2-3 days per week onsite)
Contract – 12 months with potential to extend
Rate – Circa £750 per day (umbrella)

About the Role

As the Property Project Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of complex capital projects focused on enhancing security, resilience, and critical infrastructure assets. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive property projects that directly impact workplace improvements and organisational security.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Project Leadership

  • Lead a portfolio of security and critical infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop robust project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with organisational objectives and governance requirements.

Security Infrastructure Delivery

  • Implement projects covering physical security infrastructure.
  • Ensure alignment with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Commercial and Procurement Management

  • Support procurement activities, including specification development and contract award.
  • Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Provide regular updates to governance boards and senior leadership teams.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.

Risk, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Lead the identification and management of project risks and opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Significant experience in delivering complex capital construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge and experience with NEC contracts.
  • SC Clearance (desirable).
  • Proven track record managing security-related programmes.
  • Strong project management expertise across the full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), or equivalent is desirable.
