Project Manager - Property

At PizzaExpress, we're constantly evolving our estate, investing in restaurant transformations and creating exciting spaces for our customers and teams. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager - Property to lead the delivery of capital investment projects across our portfolio, ensuring every project is completed safely, on time, on budget and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the delivery of refurbishment, transformation and new restaurant projects from concept through to completion.
  • Managing CAPEX projects, ensuring cost, quality, programme and safety targets are achieved.
  • Preparing project proposals, budgets and programmes for approval.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality and compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Managing contractors, consultants and third-party partners to deliver exceptional results.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Estates, Acquisitions, Design and Marketing.
  • Driving weekly project reviews to ensure milestones, budgets and timelines remain on track.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve value and reduce costs without compromising design standards.
  • Minimising operational disruption and ensuring projects are handed back seamlessly to restaurant teams.
  • Providing regular project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

You're an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering high-quality property projects in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

You'll bring:

  • A proven track record of successfully delivering property or construction projects.
  • Experience within hospitality, leisure, retail or other multi-site environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and a solution-focused mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland as required.
