Business Support Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Business Support Coordinator to join the Property Services department at one of Adecco's most improved public sector housing clients in a permanent role, paying between £38,184- £39,912 per annum.
Based in Central London, this is a full-time role (35 hours each week, Monday to Friday) and reports directly into our client's Compliance & Building Safety Lead. It is a hybrid working role (likely 3-4 days each week in the office) and has no direct reports.
The role provides administrative, coordination, and operational support to the Compliance and Building Safety functions within Property Services. It also supports the effective management of statutory compliance, building safety activities, contractor administration, resident communication, and regulatory record keeping across the housing stock managed by our client.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support - Compliance & Building Safety
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Compliance and Building Safety teams.
- Maintaining organised and accurate electronic and manual filing systems.
- Ensuring compliance certificates, inspection records, reports, and contractor documentation are uploaded, filed, and stored correctly.
- Supporting the coordination of meetings, inspections, contractor visits, and resident appointments.
- Assisting with diary management and scheduling activities for the team.

Data Management & Record Keeping
- Supporting the maintenance of compliance and building safety databases and systems.
- Inputting and updating records relating to: Gas, Electrical & Fire safety, Asbestos, Water hygiene, Lift servicing and building safety actions.
- Assisting with validating data and identifying missing information or overdue documentation.
- Supporting document control and ensuring records remain current and audit-ready.
- Assisting with producing routine compliance reports, trackers, and spreadsheets.
Contractor & Resident Coordination
- Liaising with contractors to arrange inspections, appointments, and access visits.
- Monitoring receipt of certification and completion paperwork from contractors.
- Raising follow-up actions for missing documentation or overdue works.
- Contacting residents regarding: access appointments, compliance inspections, safety works & resident meetings.
- Ensuring communication is clear, professional, and resident-focused.
Meeting & Governance Support
- Supporting the preparation of:
- Compliance reports, board papers, resident communications, meeting packs & dashboards and trackers.
- Taking minutes and recording actions at meetings where required.
- Monitoring and updating action trackers to ensure actions are progressed and completed.
- Assisting with audit preparation and information requests.

Building Safety & Resident Engagement Support
- Supporting administration associated with resident engagement activities and building safety communication.
- Assisting with organising: Resident meetings, TRA meetings, Safety forums & Consultation activities.
- Issuing letters, notices, and communications relating to compliance and building safety activities.
- Supporting the maintenance of resident contact records and engagement logs.
General Business Support
- Supporting procurement and ordering processes where required.
- Assisting with raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Supporting general office administration within Property Services.
- Assisting operational teams during emergency situations or urgent service delivery issues where required.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and administrative practices.
Applicants will ideally have experience of working in an administrative or business support role, and possess knowledge of social housing services and property compliance and building safety functions.
