Templer HomeBuild - Property Services Coordinator
Templer HomeBuild is part way through an exciting new chapter in its partnership with Teign Housing, with property maintenance and asset management remaining central to its work. As we grow, we’re looking for a technically minded Property Services Coordinator to strengthen our building safety and compliance function.
In this varied, high-impact role, you’ll help keep homes safe and compliant by carrying out property inspections, condition surveys and HHSRS assessments, while coordinating tenant permissions, Section 20 consultations and compliance cases.
You’ll join a friendly, ambitious and collaborative team where your housing compliance, technical property and legislative knowledge will be valued. With ongoing industry-recognised training, professional accreditations and clear development opportunities, you’ll have the support to build a rewarding career in building surveying and property services.

The Property Services Coordinator Role
Reporting to the Lead Compliance Surveyor, you’ll coordinate key property processes including mutual exchanges, tenant permission requests, compliance no-access cases and wayleave agreements, helping services run smoothly from initial enquiry through to resolution.
Working closely with residents, surveyors, contractors and legal partners, you’ll provide a professional, customer-focused compliance service while ensuring every case meets legislative, tenancy and organisational requirements.
You’ll also enjoy an agile working environment, with time split between the office, the community and, where appropriate, home.
What will you bring as Property Services Coordinator?
- Experience in social housing, property management or a related property services field, supported by a sound understanding of housing compliance and property legislation is essential.
- Practical experience in coordinating compliance processes and documentation. Applications are welcomed from technical property backgrounds such as property inspection, compliance, asset management and building surveying.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach, enabling you to work effectively with residents, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for developing your expertise in property services, building safety and compliance.
