Property Services Manager

Ayrshire
£56,000, Hybrid Working

Immediate Start. 6-month Contract. Potential Permanent Opportunity

Pertemps is working with a well-established and respected organisation in Ayrshire to recruit an experienced Property Services Manager for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished property professional to take on a varied and influential management position, overseeing the delivery of property maintenance, asset management, and planned investment services.

Initially offered on a minimum six-month contract, the role has the potential to evolve into a permanent appointment.

The Role

Working closely with senior management, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of property services, ensuring high standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting the Property Services team, managing workloads, performance, and service delivery.
  • Overseeing property maintenance, asset management, planned investment, and cyclical maintenance programmes.
  • Supporting long-term asset management strategies, stock condition assessments, and investment planning.
  • Managing contractors, consultants, procurement activities, and associated budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring service performance, producing management reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Building effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, customers, and key stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an experienced property professional who can quickly establish credibility, provide strong operational leadership, and make an immediate impact.

Ideally, you will offer:

  • Proven experience in property services, asset management, maintenance management, or a comparable senior property role.
  • Experience of managing teams, contractors, budgets, and property improvement programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance, asset investment, compliance, and health and safety.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant professional qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • A full driving licence.

Experience within social housing or the housing association sector would be particularly advantageous, although candidates with relevant backgrounds in public sector estates, residential property management, or similar environments are also encouraged to apply.
