Property Solicitor Yeovil

We are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to join an established legal team based in Yeovil.

This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer looking to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment. The role would suit someone with strong residential property experience who is confident managing matters independently and providing practical, client-focused legal advice.

The Role

As a Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Acting for clients on sales, purchases and remortgages
  • Reviewing contracts, title documentation and property information
  • Ordering and reviewing searches
  • Raising and responding to legal enquiries
  • Identifying and resolving title and transaction issues
  • Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Preparing and reviewing relevant legal documentation
  • Managing exchange and completion processes
  • Dealing with post-completion requirements
  • Keeping clients regularly updated on the progress of their matters
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant client files
  • Providing a high standard of client care and service
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements

About You

We're looking for a confident Property Solicitor with solid residential conveyancing experience and the ability to manage a caseload with a good degree of autonomy.

You should have:

  • Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales
  • Strong residential property experience
  • Proven experience managing a caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Good technical knowledge of residential property law
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • A proactive approach to progressing transactions
  • Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to client service and compliance

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on property solicitor who can take ownership of their matters and keep transactions moving.

You'll be confident dealing with clients, resolving issues as they arise and providing clear, practical advice throughout the conveyancing process.

This role would suit a Property Solicitor, Residential Property Solicitor or experienced Conveyancing Solicitor looking for their next opportunity in Yeovil.
