Description
Are you a qualified property solicitor looking for a rewarding, varied, and socially impactful role?
We're seeking an experienced Property Solicitor experience to support legal professionals across our Social Housing Development and Stock Rationalisation teams. In this role, you will help deliver high-quality legal advice to Registered Providers as part of a leading and nationally recognised social housing practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a time when significant investment is being made in the delivery of affordable housing across the UK, creating a strong pipeline of development and regeneration work for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake legal due diligence, raise enquiries and prepare title reports.
- Draft and negotiate legal documents, including land contracts, development agreements, leases and transfers.
- Manage exchange, completion and post-completion matters.
- Prepare and maintain transaction checklists, project plans and progress reports.
- Deliver high-quality legal services and build strong client relationships.
- Accurately record time and manage performance against agreed targets.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
- Support the development of trainees and junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Undertake other duties that support the effective running of the team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in property acquisitions and disposals.
- Experience handling property enquiries and legal due diligence.
- Experience acquiring development sites.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to develop skills in legal technology and other software platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
