Job Description

Residential Property Solicitor sought for a mainly remote, permanent opportunity with a well-regarded and long-established law firm.

The Opportunity

Spirehouse is working with a long-standing high street firm to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner for their Hay-on-Wye office.

  • You will join a firm with a loyal client base, excellent local reputation, and a supportive team.
  • For those seeking progression, there are no barriers to growth within the practice and a clear pathway to Partner.

The Opportunity

  • Independently manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Handle more complex transactions such as new build and shared ownership properties.
  • Provide expert guidance throughout the full conveyancing process, from initial instructions through to completion.
  • Utilise case management systems effectively to ensure the smooth running of all cases.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and provide clear, concise communication throughout the transaction process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
