Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role
We are seeking a Property Solicitor/Conveyancer/Legal Executive to join our Residential Property team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of non-contentious residential conveyancing matters, providing a high-quality service to clients throughout the transaction process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal advisor who is confident handling residential property transactions independently and who enjoys building strong client and professional relationships. Experience in more complex property matters, including leases, transfers of part, and buy-to-let transactions, would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
- Advising clients on:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Re-mortgages.
- Transfers of equity.
- New build property transactions.
- Shared ownership matters.
- Conducting title investigations and reporting to clients and lenders.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, developers, and other solicitors.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with lender requirements, regulatory obligations, and firm procedures.
- Providing excellent levels of client care and maintaining regular communication throughout transactions.
- Contributing to business development and maintaining positive referral relationships.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive/ Conveyancer in England and Wales.
- Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.

Desirable Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be particularly attractive:
- Leasehold matters, including drafting and reviewing residential leases.
- Transfers of part, including title splitting and associated Land Registry requirements.
- Buy-to-let transactions and property investment purchases.
- Complex title issues.
- Residential development or plot sales.
- Agricultural or rural residential property matters.
