Summary
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE
We're looking for a Product Manager for the National Trust’s ‘Property System’. The Property System is a mature, business-critical IT platform that supports the National Trust’s management of land, buildings, agreements, income, maintenance and compliance. It connects operational delivery, property data, finance and reporting, and its reach is continuing to grow.
What It's Like To Work Here
You'll sit at the intersection of business, data and technology, working with operational teams, technical specialists, IT colleagues and external software suppliers to continually improve the Property System and the experience of those who use it every day.
This is an ideal role for somebody with experience in IT product management, systems management, business applications or digital service delivery who enjoys turning complex requirements into practical technology solutions.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day product management of the Property System, helping to translate the strategic roadmap into deliverable improvements, enhancements and future developments.
Working closely with users, technical teams and software suppliers, you'll oversee system enhancements, testing, configuration and releases, ensuring changes are delivered safely and effectively. You'll monitor system performance, maintain data quality standards, support integration with other business systems and help ensure the platform continues to meet the needs of a growing and evolving organisation.
You'll proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and help users gain more value from existing and future functionality. Working closely with stakeholders and users, you'll understand business requirements and translate organisational need into practical technology solutions.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
