About Us
Global Corporate & Specialty is a key growth area for Aviva, and we're continuing to expand our presence in the UK and Multinational market. We're looking for an experienced Property Underwriter to help grow our portfolio, build strong broker and client relationships, and support the development of colleagues across the team.
A Bit About the Job
As a Property Underwriter within our Corporate Property team in Global Corporate & Specialty, you'll help deliver profitable growth across our UK and Multinational portfolio. You'll work closely with brokers, clients and colleagues to underwrite complex property risks and provide tailored insurance solutions. The team supports large corporate customers in the UK and internationally, helping them manage a wide range of property exposures. You'll be responsible for making sound underwriting decisions, maintaining portfolio performance and delivering excellent service. You'll also contribute to team development and support the delivery of the team's strategy and business plan.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
- Experience underwriting UK and Multinational Corporate Property business within the London Market.
- Experience structuring and placing complex international insurance programmes and bespoke policy wordings.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop successful broker and client partnerships.
- Experience supporting, coaching or developing less experienced colleagues.
- Strong commercial awareness, interest in market trends and a commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
