Chartered Valuer – Leeds
Leeds | Hybrid | Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Commission
Are you an MRICS Chartered Valuer ready for a change or looking to move into a more specialist area of valuation?
I’m working with an established property advisory business looking to appoint a Chartered Valuer to join its growing specialist Hospitality Valuations team in Leeds.
This is an opportunity to work across a genuinely varied portfolio, predominantly within the hotel sector, ranging from independent businesses through to high-value assets and larger portfolios.
Importantly, you do not need to have previous hospitality experience. The business is open to Chartered Valuers from other property disciplines and can provide specialist sector training for the right person.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for providing professional valuation advice across Yorkshire and the North, working with a broad client base including banks, investors, operators, and other property professionals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
