Within our European Growth & Sales team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Manager to lead some of the region's largest and most strategic pursuits.
At Jacobs, you'll do far more than coordinate bids. You'll help shape winning strategies, bring together diverse teams, and develop compelling solutions that address some of our clients' most complex challenges. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, influence key decisions, and play a vital role in securing work that drives our future success.
As a Proposal Manager, you'll be at the centre of how we win work, working alongside colleagues across Growth & Sales and Operations to help shape and secure some of our most important opportunities.
We're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand our clients' challenges, using that insight to develop compelling win strategies and standout proposals.
- You'll partner with Sales Leads to support opportunity development and strategic positioning, keep up to date with market trends and innovation, and help challenge our teams to think differently about how we create value for our clients.
- You'll lead cross-functional pursuit teams, bringing people together around a common goal, creating the right environment for collaboration, and ensuring everyone is set up for success.
- From qualification through to submission, you'll take ownership of planning, coordinating, and driving tender responses, turning strategy into clear, compelling messages and high-quality proposals that meet client needs and showcase what makes us different.
In doing so, you'll help develop distinctive value propositions that strengthen our competitive position and support our growth ambitions.

Here's What You'll Need
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to establish and meet deadlines/budgets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good interpersonal skills to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops and build relationships across Growth & Sales and Operations.
- Experience engaging and working with supply chain partners.
- Previous sales experience is desirable, along with a proven ability to lead successful teams on large and/or complex projects.
We are looking for people with an ability to challenge and think strategically, who can inspire those around them through strong communication and leadership skills, a passion to win and drive change, and excellent writing ability.
