We're growing fast and looking for an experienced Proposition Design Manager to join our Customer & Marketing Strategy team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, uncovering customer insights, and designing innovative propositions that create value for both customers and businesses.
You'll work alongside outstanding digital, design, strategy, and technology specialists to deliver transformational solutions for leading brands. We're looking for a leader who takes ownership, inspires teams, builds strong client relationships, and helps grow the business without compromising quality, integrity, or culture.
What You'll Do
As a Proposition Design Manager, you'll lead innovation and proposition development projects from discovery through to implementation, helping clients identify opportunities, validate ideas, and bring successful solutions to market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading proposition design engagements and managing delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
- Conducting and overseeing qualitative and quantitative research, including customer interviews, surveys, competitor analysis, and market assessments
- Translating research findings into actionable insights, opportunity areas, and strategic recommendations
- Designing and iterating new products, services, experiences, and business models using hypothesis-driven and experimentation-led approaches
- Creating prototypes, customer journeys, value propositions, operating models, and MVP concepts for testing and validation
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, co-creation sessions, and innovation sprints
- Building trusted relationships with clients and presenting recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders
- Mentoring and developing junior consultants, designers, and researchers
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, service design, product design, and technology functions
- Supporting business development activities and helping grow our proposition design capability

What We're Looking For
You'll bring a blend of strategic thinking, customer-centred design, research expertise, and leadership experience.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading proposition design, innovation, customer strategy, or service design projects
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
- Experience developing customer propositions, products, services, or business models
- Ability to rapidly prototype concepts and validate ideas with customers and stakeholders
- Experience creating go-to-market strategies and growth frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience
- Experience leading workstreams, projects, or small teams
- Excellent workshop facilitation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Agile and iterative delivery methodologies

Technical Skills
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Research and insight synthesis tools
- Prototyping and visualisation tools (e.g. Figma, Miro, Adobe XD or similar)
- Comfortable using AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance productivity, creativity, and client outcomes
