Why This Role?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as a Proposition Lead (known internally as Senior Proposition Development Manager) as we rollout a personalisation programme across IMS. You’ll deliver helpful propositions to Tesco customers at the exact moment they need them. You’ll partner with functional areas from across the Group business to deliver a new capability for IMS.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape and lead the IMS personalisation strategy and roadmap, identifying high value use cases, defining the business case and working with technology/data teams on implementation plans that unlock growth through Tesco’s Adobe platform.
- Own delivery and performance measurement of the personalisation roadmap for Money Services products, ensuring required capabilities are prioritised within IMS, agreed operating models are in place for delivery and outcomes are tracked to demonstrate value to IMS and to Tesco.
- Increase customer engagement and Clubcard penetration for Money Services products by identifying opportunities to better connect customer data, marketing consent and targeting capabilities across the Tesco ecosystem.
- Drive greater value from Tesco owned channels by improving the effectiveness of CRM, digital and cross-sell activity, focusing on high impact opportunities aligned to commercial objectives for the IMS Partnerships team.
- Build strong partnerships across Tesco and IMS stakeholders to align priorities, secure sponsorship, influence decision making and accelerate delivery of direct growth initiatives.
- Enable cross functional alignment on personalisation and direct growth priorities through clear communications, strategic storytelling and actionable insight, ensuring commercial and marketing teams are aligned with and able to activate growth opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
