We’re looking for a Proposition Manager to support the delivery of customer migration initiatives within the UK Customer business unit, part of the Solutions Design & Experience Development team.

This role is central to shaping our proposition strategy and driving improvements across Pensions and ISA services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assist the delivery of a clear roadmap and ensure regulatory compliance, all while enhancing customer outcomes and enabling agile, impactful delivery.

As a Proposition Manager, you will use data and insights to progress the shaping and end-to-end development of our proposition, delivering propositional innovations to improve the experience and outcomes for our customers and advisers.

This includes the creation of new, and changes to existing propositions, supporting the delivery of the Royal London retirement strategy.

About The Role

  • Support the delivery of customer migration initiatives, helping to shape proposition changes that align with our retirement strategy, customer needs and adviser outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively across key functions to turn insight, data and market understanding into clear, well-controlled proposition developments.
  • Use governance, risk and proposition development processes to ensure decisions, responsibilities, dependencies and outcomes are clearly documented.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve customer and adviser journeys, including consideration of vulnerable customers, inclusive design and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to agile delivery by supporting prioritisation, collaboration, post-launch reviews and early escalation of risks or issues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
