Shape the future of NFU Mutual's Farming & Estates proposition

Shape the future of NFU Mutual's Farming & Estates proposition through the delivery of three high-profile strategic initiatives.

Lead impactful projects from concept through to delivery, working with senior stakeholders to influence customer outcomes, proposition development and commercial growth.

Hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon (12 Month fixed term contract)

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Propositions Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, taking ownership of three high-profile strategic initiatives that will help shape the future direction of NFU Mutual's Farming & Estates proposition. This is a rare opportunity to lead meaningful pieces of work from concept through to delivery, influencing proposition development, customer outcomes and long-term growth within a unique and evolving market.

This opportunity has been created to support the delivery of several high-profile initiatives alongside ongoing farming proposition priorities. Acting as the business lead, you'll take ownership of three key initiatives focused on proposition development, industry data and future customer solutions, working across the business to assess opportunities, build recommendations and drive activity forward.

You'll lead reviews of existing propositions, using customer, market and commercial insight to identify opportunities for enhancement and long-term growth. Working closely with colleagues across Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Distribution and Marketing, you'll develop business cases, influence decision-making and coordinate the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and proposition change activity.

The role also involves monitoring market developments, customer trends and competitor activity, helping to ensure NFU Mutual's farming propositions remain relevant, competitive and aligned to the changing needs of the agricultural sector. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, the Agency Network and external industry bodies, acting as a trusted voice on farming propositions and future proposition development.

This is a highly visible opportunity for an experienced propositions, product or strategic delivery professional to lead meaningful pieces of work from concept through to recommendation and implementation, helping shape the future of NFU Mutual's farming proposition.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
