About The Role

This full-time, hybrid position as a Prosecutions Lawyer in Staffordshire offers a rare chance for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister to retrain. Comprehensive training, mentoring and continued support are provided, so applicants from any practice area are welcome, especially those with contentious backgrounds. The successful candidate will handle criminal proceedings on behalf of a public authority, preparing cases, advising on evidence and representing the organisation at court. Strong advocacy, analytical and communication skills are essential. The salary ranges from £46,800 to £50,000 annually, with an excellent pension and benefits. This role combines meaningful public service with genuine long-term progression.

Retrain as a specialist Prosecutions Lawyer within a highly regarded organisation, working across a broad and complex caseload while developing your prosecutorial expertise, case management and advocacy skills. Previous contentious experience would be advantageous but is not essential, with comprehensive training and mentoring provided to support your transition into prosecutions.

You will bring strong advocacy and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality public service.
