About The Role
This full-time, hybrid position based in Surrey offers a qualified Solicitor or Barrister the chance to retrain as a Prosecutions Lawyer. Working from Guildford two or three days each week, the successful candidate handles a varied caseload of criminal and regulatory matters, developing advocacy, case management and prosecutorial expertise. Comprehensive mentoring and ongoing support are provided, so applicants from any practice area are welcome, particularly those with contentious backgrounds. The salary ranges from £46,800 to £50,000 annually, accompanied by an outstanding pension and strong prospects for long-term progression within public service.

The Role
Develop specialist expertise as a Prosecutions Lawyer, working on a varied and complex caseload while building your advocacy, case management, and prosecutorial skills. Contentious experience is welcomed but not essential, with comprehensive training and dedicated mentoring provided to help you successfully transition into prosecutions.
