This Charity is made up of an astounding group of professionals who believe that people's sight matters. This is a pivotal moment for the charity, as they prepare for the opening of a new Eye Health in 2027, and evolve into a national funder to expand their grant making reach and impact across the UK. The team is looking to appoint a Prospect Research Manager and Prospectus is leading the search.

Prospect Research Manager

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working available)
Hybrid (2 days in Old Street)
£53,786-£62,750

The prospect research manager will be responsible for defining, implementing and delivering the prospect research strategy, and will lead the prospect research team and line manage two part-time prospect research officers and a part-time prospect research assistant. They will also play a leading role in fundraising data processes within the team and further developing the CRM functionalities with a strong focus on data and insight to guide team activity. They will provide insight, analysis and forecasts using bespoke research and data analytics to support the charity's planning, activity, performance, reporting and growth, and will lead their team to work collaboratively across the charity's wider team to conduct due diligence.

Requirements

The selected candidate will have significant experience of managing a prospect research function and will have a thorough detailed knowledge of the voluntary sector. You will have excellent research skills in major gifts fundraising with demonstrable experience in identifying and researching prospects at the six and seven figure levels. You will have excellent analytical skills, including data reporting with the ability to interpret financial data and translate that data into actionable insights, and a strong understanding of relational databases.
